SJIS School is committed to promoting sports and physical activities for students right from nursery to Grade 12, ensuring their holistic development. The school provides state-of-the-art sports facilities, including playgrounds, indoor arenas, and specialized coaching for various sports and athletics. From a young age, children are encouraged to participate in fun-based physical activities that enhance their motor skills and coordination. As students progress through the grades, they engage in structured training programs, inter-house competitions, and inter-school tournaments to hone their skills and sportsmanship. SJIS also emphasizes the importance of fitness through yoga, aerobics, and wellness programs, fostering a culture of health and active living. By integrating sports into the curriculum and organizing annual sports events, SJIS School ensures that every student, regardless of skill level, has the opportunity to participate, grow, and excel in sports.
SJIS has four clubs for Grades VI to X: Astronomy Club, Theatre and Dramatics Club, Nature and Wildlife Club, and Social Service Club. Each club is designed to empower students to explore diverse interests, engage actively, and contribute meaningfully to both personal growth and the community.

Children can learn effectively and successfully only when they are mentally healthy and fit. At SJIS, we also take care of their psychological health and growth and assist them in overcoming their emotional and behavioural problems. We work with teachers and parents to address children’s psychological, academic and interpersonal problems.
