Large, airy and well lit classrooms provide the right ambience for effective learning. Every classroom has charts, graphs and globes to make children understand subjects better. The LCD screens and projectors keep children's interest alive in the subject. It helps the teachers to present information using multi-media and digital images. Light furniture allows the classroom space to be flexible to different teaching strategies

Library

Our inviting and well stacked library helps children discover the joy of reading. The extensive libraries boast of a number of fiction and non-fiction books, children books, comics and student magazines. An extensive reference section in the libraries helps students work on multi-disciplinary projects. Our libraries also have access to the internet facility for students and teachers.

Laboratories

Every child loves to experiment what he / she has learnt in the classroom. At SJIS, we have well-equipped laboratories for primary, middle and senior classes.  The Science, Mathematics and Computer labs are well equipped to help children in conducting various activities that strengthen their conceptual understanding. The computer lab is well equipped with latest state of the art computer hardware and software that enables the students to connect globally as well has provides access to the internet for research and information seeking.

Canteen

The School Dinning Hall is a place where students relax and enjoy a few light moments along with wholesome food. Junk food and aerated drinks are not allowed in the canteen. Dinning Space is supervised by the staff and periodic checks are undertaken to ensure hygiene and cleanliness in the area. However, it is the garden, shacks and trees wherein the children enjoy their meals and experience closeness with nature. Birds and butterflies accompany the chatter during recess.

Sports Facility

We have Activity Hall at all of our campuses to organize various school activities, especially performing arts. The halls are fitted with equipments that help develop the aesthetic sensitivities of our children. A play room for the nursery children is equipped with role play apparatus to ensure that they learn through the world of make-belief.

Open Air Auditorium

The school boasts of its auditorium set in midst of trees and lawns. It is one of the most favourite place of each student to perform, practice or just enjoy its ambience. It is perfect for summer camps, festival celebrations, spring galas, theatres and also assemblies.

Transportation

The School provides pick and drop facilities for students and teachers through school run safe, secured and well-maintained buses on all routes in a city.
